Hi! I'm Catherine but you can call me Cat. I'll respond to either. I am currently a resident and sophomore at RIC. I was originally a political science major when I came here last year. I changed to History Secondary Education a few weeks into my second semester. Though I enjoyed my professors in the Political Science department, I could not ignore my love and desire to teach. I am originally from a small town in Connecticut. I am a middle child from a mixed family, meaning I have two half-siblings and one full-sibling. Growing up I absolutely loved school. I was very involved in extracurricular and had a passion for learning, specifically history. My father was a history buff and I grew up to the sounds of the History Channel and various historical movies. I am a proud daughter of a Marine (Semper Fi) and one of my favorite subjects in history is American history which I can thank my father for.
